Salicylates are hard to avoid. Maybe this is the first time you’re reading about salicylates and you’re trying to establish if there is a link between your symptoms to salicylate intolerance or maybe you already know you have a sensitivity to salicylates and you’re trying to find a possible solution.
15 years of clinical experience have taught me that salicylate sensitivity can be treated. The treatment is done online and it usually takes 2-3 sessions to notice an improvement. You will need to avoid salicylates after the treatment, but only for 24 hours and then I will create a specific protocol for you explaining how you can introduce salicylates back into your diet and which salicylates are safe to introduce as it may differ from person to person.
If you’d like to discuss your symptoms with me and hear more about the online treatment I offer, you can request your FREE online Consultation.
The consultation is done via phone/skype/whatsapp or email if you prefer to communicate in writing.
I tested her using muscle testing and I got that she was sensitive to salicylates, yeast and sugar and also that there was an emotional and mental component that contributed to the infection as well.
Salicylates can cause such a wide range of symptoms. Ususally salicylate sensitivity affects the respiratory and digestive systems, but it can affect any body system.
My client confirmed that she gets an infection every time she has alcohol (even half a glass of wine is enough to set it off). Wine is very high in salicylates as well as yeast and sugar, so again that all made sense to me. She also said that at times of stress (work and relationship), her infections would flare up.
After 3 treatments in which I treated her sensitivity to salicylates, sugar and yeast and cleared the emotional and mental imbalances related to the infections, she was feeling much better.
I treated her 3 years ago and yesterday she sent me an email with a testimonial stating that she hasn’t had another urinary tract infection since I treated her all these years ago. She was amazed to know that even a urinary tract infection can be related to salicylate allergies.
Maybe your symptoms are due to a salicylate sensitivity?
The easiest yet hardest way to find out if you have a salicylate allergy is to go on a salicylate elimination diet and then slowly reintroduce them back into your diet. Alternatively, you can go on a low salicylate diet plan and see if your symptoms improve.
The reason I wrote it is the easiest and the hardest way is because going on a salicylate elimination diet is so restrictive and difficult, yet if you stick to a low salicylate diet plan, you will usually know within a few days if salicylates allergy is the cause of your symptoms as you will feel better once you eliminate them from your diet.
Foods High in Salicylates – A Comprehensive List
There are many salicylate food lists out there, yet they are in so many foods, so it is hard to find a very comprehensive one.
I often get asked if chocolate is included in the list of foods high in salicylates or if ginger is high in salicylates. Sometimes it is hard to find that information. I have compiled a very comprehensive salicylate food list in pdf form for you to have.
Staying off salicylates for long periods of time can cause vitamin and mineral deficiencies. If you think you are reacting to salicylates and would like to get that treated, please click below on the ‘FREE online consultation’ button, so we can set a time to discuss your possible treatment plan.
