Let’s get 2 facts out of the way:
- Salicylate sensitivity is a difficult thing to live with!
- There is no need to suffer as different remote healing techniques that I use in my online clinic can help reduce or even eliminate salicylate sensitivity related symptoms.
The stories I hear from my clients are often similar. They usually contact me after they have read about salicylates online and realized that all the foods they are reacting to are high salicylate foods.
Salicylate sensitivity is still relatively unknown and I still haven’t met a GP who has heard about it. That makes it hard to get answers and know what options for healing are out there.
What Are Salicylates?
I’m guessing that if you’re reading this blog, that you have heard about salicylates and potentially you’re curious to know more about them.
Salicylates are found in nearly everything. It will take me less time to list what they’re not found in as opposed to what they’re in, which makes it a nearly impossible mission to avoid them entirely.
Salicylates are found in vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds, spices and honey. Here is a link to a more comprehensive list that you can use to get a bit more familiar with the different foods that contain salicylates.
Salicylates can cause symptoms that may affect many multiple body systems. You may experience skin related symptoms such as eczema, dermatitis and eczema, digestive system related symptoms such as bloating, flatulence, diarrhea and pain, respiratory system symptoms such as asthma, runny nose or blocked sinus and you may also experience headaches, difficulty in concentration or brain fog.
What are the Symptoms of Salicylate Sensitivity?
If you suspect that you may have salicylate sensitivity, you may choose to go on an elimination diet and use the list provided above to have a very strict diet that consists of foods from the negligible and low lists. This won’t be easy, but if your symptoms improve, it will give you an indication that your symptoms are potentially due to salicylate sensitivity.
Most people contact me after they have already established that they’re reacting to salicylates (through trial and error or following the elimination diet).
Reactions can vary from mild to very severe and some people can tolerate some salicylates, while others react from having one bite of a food that contains salicylates.
In my clinic I use muscle testing to test what types of salicylates you may be reacting to, what potentially caused the salicylate sensitivity and what can be done to reduce the effects of salicylate exposure or consumption.
All of this is done online!!! (with remote healing techniques)
The healing techniques that I use combine years of study and research. I use IPEC (Integrated Physical Emotional Clearing) as well as kinesiology, Theta healing and Body Connect Healing. I’ve been using remote healing techniques to treat salicylate sensitivity for over 15 years with great success.
Most of my clients find that they can introduce new foods and have a larger variety to choose from within the first couple of sessions.
Please get in touch to get more details and find out if this could be THE THING that makes you feel better.
